This Awareness

Oh gracious God,
I wonder at how my existence has always been—how creation itself transcends our limited perception of human form. In You there is no time; the unfolding of a never-ending universe is but a single thought of Yours.

This physical existence—trillions of galaxies, endless motion, vast distance—is only a faint broadcast of what is truly real, just enough to hold our fragile attention. My words fall short. My intellect cannot begin to grasp the greatness of You.

“For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face.”
— 1 Corinthians 13:12

Yet You gave me this journey. You gave me birth, and with it a life—layered with history, emotion, love, and tragedy. A life within a life, continually becoming.

Help me, O Lord, to accept what is, and to trust what You already see: a life that continually recreates itself, and a return that was never in doubt.

Closing Prayer

Lord,
I release my need to understand what was never meant to be grasped by the mind. I accept my unknowing as holy ground. Teach me to see not with certainty, but with surrender—not with answers, but with the quiet sight of the soul. Until the day all is revealed, let my trust be enough, my presence be faithful, and my resting in You be complete.

Amen.
