Vielleicht pronunciation - “FEEL-lycht”
Vielleicht is the German word that translates to perhaps or possibly.
In English we might say maybe, but the German root carries something gentler, more hopeful. It suggests there is room for this to be true. Room for grace. Room for God.
Hope is a positive force that carries my faith forward.
And vielleicht holds a softness rather than doubt. It leans toward trust.
Thy will be done.
We are not forsaken by God, because the story is not over.

So yes, you may meet trials, despair, and pain.
But the victory belongs to God — and because it belongs to Him, it reaches you too.
In the grand scheme of things, my brothers and sisters, what you see and experience in this human form is infinitesimal compared to your soul and the eternal consciousness of creation. What feels unbearable now may, in God’s hands, very easily become redemption.
What looks like an ending may be the doorway.
What feels like loss may be making room for glory.
What hurts today may shine forever.

Lord, when my vision is small, widen it.
When my heart is afraid, soften it.
Teach me to trust that Your victory is already written into my life.
Let me rest in the holy perhaps that is always becoming Your promise.
